Matt Miller is the founding partner and managing member of Full Sea Capital. With extensive experience as a founder, operator and investor, he created Full Sea Capital to achieve differentiated returns in both public and private markets and to partner with the next generation of transformative public companies.
Previously, Matt was the founder and CEO of Embroker. As CEO, Matt led Embroker to become one of the innovators shaping the future of insurance and raised over $140M from leading VCs. Prior to founding Embroker, Matt was a Principal at the private equity firm Hellman & Friedman, where he led investments in insurance and software companies and served on the board of HUB International. Prior to joining Hellman & Friedman, Matt worked on the investment team for Bain Capital in Boston and Hong Kong and as a consultant for Bain & Company in New York.
Matt graduated summa cum laude from Duke University, and earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.
